The Human Liver

The liver is the largest organ in the body, and has many dynamic functions, which are all performed, to perfection, when the liver is in its healthy state. Anybody can appreciate the role the liver plays in health by taking a look at its amazing functions:

  1. Elimination of all toxic substances from the blood
  2. Regulation of carbohydrate metabolism
  3. Regulation of protein metabolism
  4. Storage of Glycogen and vitamins A, D, and many of the B complex vitamins ( including vitamin B12, iron and copper
  5. Synthesis of most blood components

Medical orthodoxy has, to date, not recognized that the average modern-day lifestyle imposes a toxic overload. Thus, the liver cannot keep up with the detoxification requirements and must contend with these toxins.

This is the genesis of auto-immune disease and explains the paradox of how our own immune system is fooled into attacking the very tissues it was originally designed to protect.

Liver toxicity is common all over the world. Resultant conditions of a toxic liver include the following:
bulletchronic fatigue and obesity
bulletdepression and stress
bulletInsomnia and auto-immune disease
bulletallergies and sexual dysfunction
bulletheadaches and irritability
bullethormonal imbalance and thymus malfunction
